THE SPIRITUAL TONGUES BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

(1)Genesis 11:1-9 (The Tower of Babel);
    ~God confused the language of all the earth and scattered the people abroad over the face of all the earth.

(2)'Acts 2:1-13' (Other tongues);
    ~This happened because there was need to fulfill that in 'Genesis 11:5-9'.
    ~In Genesis 11:1-9, the Holy Spirit was received by man but it caused confusion of language and scattering of people abroad over the face of the Earth. The 'Other tongues' scattered people. Here the confusion led to disunity.
    ~In Acts 2:1-13, the Holy Spirit was received by man but it caused confusion among the onlookers for the 'disciples' spoke in new languages (tongues). These tongues instead caused unity among people for instead of scattering like in 'Genesis 11:1-9', they came together to witness the Holy Spirit manifesting with unity.

(3)The essence of the above;
    ~The Holy Spirit was to unite God's people and not to scatter them; this expresses love ❤ for others.
    ~Also, God meant that His Word should be evangelised to all nations; for all are welcome to the kingdom of God, and only the 'Israelites'.
    ~So, when evangelising or preaching, use the language people understand, in that given area; for God considers all languages, in all things- (Psalms 19:3 & Philippians 2:11).

(4)Mark 16:17; (New tongues);
    ~These 'New Tongues' are different from the ones mentioned above in; (1)&(2).
    ~The tongues were to be 'new tongues' that are inexpressible and unlawful to man; (2Corinthians 12:1-4 & Romans 8:26).
    ~You can or may be endowed with different kinds of tongues.
    ~Endeavour to also speak in 'tongues' for they are 'Heavenly'; the DEVIL does not, and will never, understand these 'New tongues'.

(5)Purpose of the 'New Tongues' in 'Mark 16:17';
    ~Romans 8:26-28;
         *"26:Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27:And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28:And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (KJV).
    ~Whenever you speak in tongues, you smite Satan 😈 unknowingly; for he doesn't understand them at all.
