THE MEANING OF 'THE LIGHT' IN GENESIS 1:3

(1)Genesis 1:3,4,5;
    ~"3:Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light." (NKJV).
    ~4:And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (KJV).
    ~5:And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (KJV).

(2)Psalms 104:2;
    ~"2:Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:" (KJV).
    ~ This verse, quoted above, reveals to us that the 'Light' talked of in 'Genesis 1:3' was not that 'light' of the sun☀and the moon, that you physically know.
    ~The Sun ☀ and the moon were created on the 4th day; 'Genesis 1:14-19'.
    ~This verse, Psalms 104:2, talks of 'JESUS CHRIST Himself. Jesus Christ was that very 'Light' in 'Genesis 1:3'.
    ~Let's look at another verse for clarity.

(3)John 1:1-5;
    ~"1:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2:The same was in the beginning with God. 3:All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4:In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5:And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (AMP).
    ~The Word is JESUS CHRIST Himself; He is too the 'Light' that was mentioned in 'Genesis 1:3'.
    ~The Holy Spirit revealed to John, the most loved by Jesus Christ, what exactly happened in the beginning (from Gensesis 1:2-5).

(4)John 1:8;
    ~"8:He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light." (AMP).
    ~Meaning: John the Baptist was not that 'Light', but was sent to bear witness of that 'Light'. This was JESUS CHRIST; He is too the Word of God.

(5)Revelation 22:5;
    ~"5:And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." (AMP).
    ~In Heaven, PARADISE, there will be no light from the sun or candle, not even that from the moon; and there will be no night too; God will give them (the Saints) light for Himself is the 'LIGHT'.
