DIGGING DEEP INTO THE VERSE 'EZEKIEL 16:3'

DIGGING DEEP INTO THE VERSE 'EZEKIEL 16:3'

(1)Introduction;
    ~A similar context of the above mentioned verse was repeated in 'Ezekiel 16:45'.
    ~Both, the verses, were revealed unto 'Prophet Ezekiel' who was to deliver the message unto the Israelites then; but even now, it remains a "revelation" unto us of the current.
    ~Before I continue, allow me say, "Hallo!", to you- you're the reason am here.

(2)Ezekiel 16:3;
    ~"3:And say, Thus saith the Lord God unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite." (KJV).
    ~Why the father an Amorite and the mother a Hittite; yet there were 7 Canaanite wicked nations that God had instructed to be utterly destroyed then!
    ~Our concern today is knowing why the above comparison! Let's go on 'Bible Revealers'.

(3)Explanation;
    ~The Amorites and the Hittites were more wicked compared to the others; among the 7 Canaanite nations then; and thus the comparison.
    ~'Genesis 15:16' reveals to us that the men of the Amorite nation were too wicked in comparison to the other Canaanite nations. That's why in this verse, the emphasis was then put on these 'Amorites' among the 7 Canaanite nations.
    ~Remember, these 7 Canaanite nations were (Deuteronomy 7:1 & Acts 13:19):
          (1)Hittites,
          (2)Girgashites,
          (3)Amorites,
          (4)Canaanites,
          (5)Perizzites,
          (6)Hivites,
          (7)Jebusites.
    ~Genesis 15:16;
          "16:But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full." (KJV).
    ~'Genesis 27:46' reveals to us that, for sure, the 'Hittite' women and girls (daughters of Heth) were more wicked compared to the other 'Canaanite nations'. That's why Rebekah (Rebeccah) used it as an opportunity to free and save Jacob, from his brother Esau, as understood by this verse.
    ~Genesis 27:46;
          "46:And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?" (KJV).
    ~And indeed, "Like mother, like daughter!" (Ezekiel 16:44).
    ~This time, I've only used KJV because, it is the most trusted; but other versions too are good, refer to them too.
    ~According to the above explanation, that's why God compared the wickedness of Israel 🇮🇱 to the Amorites (father) and Hittites (mother).
    ~Let me hope 🙏 it's done.
